So the last battle has finally been fought and in the end victory is mine.

I have wanted to blog about this for a while but have hesitated because of various reasons.

In the beginning there was a woman who came to work at *******. I was her supervisor and in the beginning it was all good. She showed a talent for the job and for working with other people. She was a leader of sort, a positive one at that. She was upbeat and always ready to take on a challenge.As time went on she made a good name for herself.

That is until she made her 6 month mark. You see, once you reach 6 months, you are no longer on probation. You can no longer be let go at any time, without reason. You are held to the disciplinary policy that allows for documented discussions, write ups, suspensions, then finally termination. A process that could take well over a year.

As soon as she had this mile marker under her belt, she started to change. She became loud and very argumentative. She publicly put others down, even those she called friend. She would make fun of others for their weight, how tall they were, and any other reason she could come up with. She would push the envelope to the limit and then back down.

I tried to stop her but thanks to my boss who told me to be nice I could do nothing.

I was then off work for almost 3 months for major surgery. During this time, my team was led by another supervisor who let them do whatever they pleased as long as they were her friend.

I came back to find that this woman had all of the rest of the team under her control. Some by threats, some by low self esteem.

I was still told to be nice by my boss.

I tried, knowing that in time I would be given permission once again to take control and turn the team around.

One night at 11:30, this woman decided she was going to challenge me. She threatened me with my physical well being and tried to mentally get to me by using her daughter who is an cop to scare me. I don't scare easily. The only thing that stopped her from throwing punches that night was another person stepping in and holding her back.

She was given a 3 day vacation without pay for that. It was the worst the hospital could do to her under the present policy.

The following week, because it became obvious that the policy was outdated and could be used to undermine the best intrests of the hospital, the policy was changed.

She could be fired for making threats of any kind now.

I was finally told not to be nice. To be myself and take control of things and do what is right.

It took me 6 months of hell to finally see the end to this.

Everyone knew she would lose it again. It was only a matter of time.Last week she did. I stood on my side of the desk with her on the other leaning forward, she had her hands balled and ready to strike. She was going to hit me. Now had I not just had several thousand in dental work done I would have stood my ground. I decided however to back down and let give the new policy a chance.

She was fired, finally. She did however make sure she tossed in one last threat of "your dead" before she left.

Well I can't comment on any thing from that point on because I wouldn't want to risk any legal issues being affected by a blog.

I can say however, it felt good to win.

It is good to be apart of the victory.

The team, my employees that followed her, well they are a different unit now.

I cut off the head of the monster and now tho the body is still moving now and again, for the most part they are the team I had before ****. They seem to trying to redeem themselves. A few have even thanked me for standing up for them. Told me they were afraid of her.

I almost lost faith in the system but in the end I have come to realize that good will eventually win. Even when it seems impossible.

Damn, it feels good!!!

I am just tired.

I am tired of all the shit going on in this country and the lack of interest by the majority of the people I personally know.

I am tired of trying to show people the facts and having them insist on being blind to the truth. I know sometimes the truth hurts but it must be faced.

The spend and tax policies of the Obama administration that will put our grand kids into debt before they are even born.

The attempt to strip us of our civil rights that our forefathers fought and died for. The right to free speech, the right to own guns, the right to be free of illegal search and seizure.

The card check law that will take away our right to decide for ourselves whether we want to join a union. This law gives the unions the right to harass and threaten those that don't want to sign the cards. It then forces the employees to pay dues that would be used to support political agendas that we have no vote in. It takes away the ability for the employee to make their own choices. It takes away the ability for union employees to vote on a strike. The decision is made by the union leaders and you would have to strike or lose your "union card" and then not have a job.

Nobody wants to listen.

Then there is the assault on health care. How dare the government try and tell me what medical treatment or medications I need. That has always been between me and my doctor. That is how it should stay. I am in health care. I see the fear and here the conversations about will their child even be able to get the life saving treatment if we go to a government health care system. I have seen families travel from all over the world to come to America just to save their loved ones. I ask people to think about how this would affect you.

Nobody wants to listen.

Other countries are warning us about the path to destruction we are being led down. They speak from experience.

So, what do I do?

The only thing I can do. Keep talking. Keep fighting for what is right.

To those of you that do hear and see what is going on, find your voice. Use it. Read and research the facts and open your mouth and fight with well educated words.

My son told me about a girl who was at a get together and spoke out against Obama. She was beaten up by Obama bots. He was afraid for me because he know I can't keep quiet. He was afraid for my partner because she speaks the truth and is very passionate about it.

He said the world is crazy and the young people who are on Obama's side are angry. They are willing to fight and they don't think about what they are doing. They don't care.

I did some research and found this is something that is occurring around the country. The newspapers candy coat the story, but the truth still stands out.

This is starting to sound a lot like Germany in the early 30's. The youth groups beating down the opposition and then like thieves in the night disappearing.

I try and tell people this.

They don't want to hear.

We are headed for a revolution.
We are headed for blood shed on our own soil.
Brother against brother.

But nobody will listen.

I am tired. I am frustrated. I want to give up.I won't.

It is important.

It is our children's future, our grandchildren's future.

I will fight.

With words, with actions, with passion.

I will fight for country that my father and grandfather fought for.

I will not give up.

I will find the strength.

Steelers to lose super bowl trophies..per Obama

Pittsburgh, PA. The Super Bowl XLIII Champion Pittsburgh Steelers, the only team to win six titles, will soon be losing half of those trophies.
After a meeting between NFL Commissioner Rodger Goodel and President Barack Hussein Obama, Obama decided to redistribute half of their Steeler Super Bowl victories and trophies to less fortunate teams in the league.
“We live everyday in the country that invented the Super Bowl.” said Obama “We are not about to lose this Great American tradition in the wake of these difficult times.”
Obama’s plan calls for the Steelers, who are a successful NFL team, to give half of their Super Bowl trophies to teams that are not successful or have not been as successful as the Steelers. “The Detroit Lions are just as much a part of the same fiber of the NFL as the Steelers and they should, no rather will, be entitled to a Super Bowl Trophy as well.” Obama explains in his plan that he has imposed on Godel and the NFL.
The Pittsburgh Steelers, who by virtue of hard work, excellent team play, stellar draft choices, responsible investing of free agents, careful hiring of coaches and excellent community service and commitment to their fans, has prospered greatly during the past 30 years and have won six Super Bowl Trophies. But President Barack Hussein Obama’s plan calls for the Pittsburgh Steelers to carry the larger burden of the NFL’s less successful teams. For two years, Obama has focused his health care plan entirely on socializing the United States health care system. Unfortunately, he has given little attention to facts and reality.It is clear we need vast health care reform in the United States, but is government ran health care really the best option? Any guesses why this study was ignored by the mainstream media?

Via the National Center for Policy Analysis, Hoover Institution senior fellow Scott Atlas identifies 10 things you probably did not know about health care:

Fact No.1: Americans have better survival rates than Europeans for common cancers.Breast cancer mortality is 52 percent higher in Germany than in the United States, and 88 percent higher in the United Kingdom. Prostate cancer mortality is 604 percent higher in the U.K. and 457 percent higher in Norway. The mortality rate for colorectal cancer among British men and women is about 40 percent higher.

Fact No.2: Americans have lower cancer mortality rates than Canadians.Breast cancer mortality is 9 percent higher, prostate cancer is 184 percent higher and colon cancer mortality among men is about 10 percent higher than in the United States.

Fact No.3: Americans have better access to treatment for chronic diseases than patients in other developed countries.Some 56 percent of Americans who could benefit are taking statins, which reduce cholesterol and protect against heart disease.By comparison, of those patients who could benefit from these drugs, only 36 percent of the Dutch, 29 percent of the Swiss, 26 percent of Germans, 23 percent of Britons and 17 percent of Italians receive them.

Fact No.4: Americans have better access to preventive cancer screening than Canadians.Take the proportion of the appropriate-age population groups who have received recommended tests for breast, cervical, prostate and colon cancer:* Nine of 10 middle-aged American women (89 percent) have had a mammogram, compared to less than three-fourths of Canadians (72 percent).* Nearly all American women (96 percent) have had a pap smear, compared to less than 90 percent of Canadians.* More than half of American men (54 percent) have had a PSA test, compared to less than 1 in 6 Canadians (16 percent).* Nearly one-third of Americans (30 percent) have had a colonoscopy, compared with less than 1 in 20 Canadians (5 percent).

Fact No.5: Lower income Americans are in better health than comparable Canadians.Twice as many American seniors with below-median incomes self-report “excellent” health compared to Canadian seniors (11.7 percent versus 5.8 percent). Conversely, white Canadian young adults with below-median incomes are 20 percent more likely than lower income Americans to describe their health as “fair or poor.”

Fact No.6: Americans spend less time waiting for care than patients in Canada and the U.K. Canadian and British patients wait about twice as long - sometimes more than a year - to see a specialist, to have elective surgery like hip replacements or to get radiation treatment for cancer.All told, 827,429 people are waiting for some type of procedure in Canada. In England, nearly 1.8 million people are waiting for a hospital admission or outpatient treatment.

Fact No.7: People in countries with more government control of health care are highly dissatisfied and believe reform is needed.More than 70 percent of German, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand and British adults say their health system needs either “fundamental change” or “complete rebuilding.”

Fact No.8: Americans are more satisfied with the care they receive than Canadians.When asked about their own health care instead of the “health care system,” more than half of Americans (51.3 percent) are very satisfied with their health care services, compared to only 41.5 percent of Canadians; a lower proportion of Americans are dissatisfied (6.8 percent) than Canadians (8.5 percent).

Fact No.9: Americans have much better access to important new technologies like medical imaging than patients in Canada or the U.K.Maligned as a waste by economists and policymakers naïve to actual medical practice, an overwhelming majority of leading American physicians identified computerized tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as the most important medical innovations for improving patient care during the previous decade.The United States has 34 CT scanners per million Americans, compared to 12 in Canada and eight in Britain. The United States has nearly 27 MRI machines per million compared to about 6 per million in Canada and Britain.

Fact No.10: Americans are responsible for the vast majority of all health care innovations.The top five U.S. hospitals conduct more clinical trials than all the hospitals in any other single developed country.Since the mid-1970s, the Nobel Prize in medicine or physiology has gone to American residents more often than recipients from all other countries combined. In only five of the past 34 years did a scientist living in America not win or share in the prize. Most important recent medical innovations were developed in the United States.

Obama stated when running for president that he would speak with or debate anyone that had issues with his policy, ideas, and future vision for this country.

Why then has he said NO to Rush....

Is he afraid that he would be left in the dirt when Rush wipes the floor with him by simply pointing out his lies?

Is he afraid that the people of this country would see him confronted with the truth?

This is part of an article in the Omaha World Herald. It is about the earmarks that are embedded into the stimulus bill. I found this one very interesting and couldn't resist posting.

Nelson (Dem two faced LIAR) promised that he would not vote for any bill that contained earmarks for anyone's "pet" projects.

Nelson also found himself in the role of earmark defender. His $866,000 earmark to support stable fly research at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln was ridiculed as "pork" on cable news.

He touted the merits of stable fly research and said the latest round of criticism was a typical attack focused on less than 1 percent of the total funding in the legislation.

Now how full of SHIT is this $866,000 for stable fly research??? They are flies, that sit on shit and buzz around anything that will let them.

Come on Nelson, who blew you to get your support and sponsorship for this earmark? Then you try and justify it by saying it is less than 1% of total funding.

How many of the voters that elected you have even seen this much money?

Do you really think the people of Nebraska want this money spent on flies?

I had a dream, the series, part 2

Once again I would like to say that dreams are just that, dreams. By no means would I ever wish harm to any individual. In no way would I ever want to do anything that would break any federal, state, or local laws. This is a work of fantasy, nothing more.

So back in my nice warm bed, falling deep into that sleep, that sleep perchance to dream. I awake and I get up and go to the living room to start my day. There on the TV, it is again. The scroll, BREAKING NEWS.

Our president has been shot. At this moment he is fighting for his life in surgery to remove a bullet that is dangerously close to the heart and another lodged in the base of his spine. Speculation from informed sources tell us at best the president is in grave danger. If he survives the surgery there is not much hope that he will ever walk again.

I think to myself, fantasy, just another dream and I go hop in the shower expecting to wake up in my warm bed at any moment. I start my drive to work, turn on the radio and the music has been replaced by a liberal anchor man talking about what a tragedy the whole thing is and how this day will live in history as the day the first black president was assassinated.

I begin to wonder, am I really asleep or is this really happening?

Is the president really dead and does that mean that Biden is our president? He is an idiot. This is crazy.

Then again, if I am awake what are the implications?

Damn it, there is the alarm.
Knew it was to good to be true.
Maybe I can slide back into the dream again and find out where it is taking me.

Dreams are once again, nothing but fantasy, fiction.
Then again, fantasy, fiction is better then reality.

In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked a strange Question. He asked, 'Do you know how to catch wild pigs?' The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punchline. The young Man said this was no joke. 'You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place In the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to Come every day to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, You put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you Put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat Again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a Gate in the last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn, start to Come through the gate to eat, you slam the gate on them and catch the whole Herd. Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around Inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free Corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the Woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity. The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening To America . The government keeps pushing us toward socialism and keeps Spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as corporate bail outs, supplemental Income, tax credit for unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, Payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc.. While we Continually lose our freedoms -- just a little at a time. If a woman in New York can dream about having sex with our new president, I figured I could have a dream too.

Now I want to say that a dream is just that, a dream, a fantasy. It in no way reflects in anyway actions I would ever take or wish upon anyone. I in no way would ever want to break any federal, state, or local laws.

Woke up this morning, turned on the news just like any other day. I am doing my normal thing. Get my daily dose of caffeine and settle in to see what is going on in the world.

BREAKING NEWS rolls across the top of my TV.
President Obama has been shot as he spoke at a rally in Kansas City.
He has been life flighted to a local hospital where he is undergoing surgery for a undisclosed injury.
I repeat President Obama has been shot. Joe Biden in Washington is now our acting president while Obama is in surgery. The only comment at this point is no comment.
Stay tuned as we will get you any information as it comes in.

What?????

Damn, It is just a dream. Maybe I will have part 2 tomorrow night.
Today is just the same old crap.
Obama raping the nation by driving us so far into debt that our grand kids will be still paying it off in their golden years.
Sometimes dreams are sweet and reality is the nightmare.

Foodstamps, they want to give out more??? WTF

One of the biggest things I am hearing talk about at work lately is how there will shortly, thanks to the "stimulus bill" an increase in not only the amount but the scope of those that qualify for foodstamps. Now in my job, we run into a lot of people that feel they are entitled to help from the government. You know what I am talking about. Free medical care, free housing, free food.

This would be the point that I reveal that I work in the medical community. I see families that walk into the hospital and expect, no demand not only free care for their kids but food from the cafeteria for the rest of the family, phone cards so they can call anyone and everyone they know around the world. They expect to be housed in a local hotel at our expense, the taxpayers expense. They even want transportation to and from the hospital to anywhere they want to go.

Does this piss me off? Hell Yes!!!

However, I wanted to talk about foodstamps. I will get to the whole healthcare issue at a later date.

Foodstamps. They use to come in a book. Now you have a card, much like a credit card, and a PIN #.

So I go to the store, with my list of things we need. I add up the total as I go and thanks to some overtime this week and the decent weather, hence a lower gas bill, we are able to get a few things we want, not just need. Still I think of the upcoming bills and am hesitant in extending to far away from the "list".

I go to check out, pay for the food.

There in line in front of me is a young woman, two kids in tow, wild kids that have no knowledge or example of how they should behave. Mom is on her cell phone, a razor, talking to who know who about what they are going to wear that night at the bar.

They get to the checkout and start putting their food on the conveyor. I see brand name everything. Lots of junk food, lots of higher priced items. Cuts of meat that we save for holidays. T-bone steaks, hostess snack cakes, pop, cookies, TV dinners (the good ones).

I look at my cart and see store brand items, want to save a few cents, cheaper cuts of meat, few extras.

Then the kicker. She takes out her EBT card and proudly says to the person on the phone, "only spent half of what I got this month, do you want anything?"

I want to scream. Or at least snatch this liberal blond bitch bald.

I don't.

Then it is my turn. I pay with cash.

They are still bagging their items. We finish about the same time. As I walk to my car, my older but very well maintained car, I can't help but look.

She gets into a almost new SUV.

I guess it doesn't pay to work hard and save.
Could have taken the easy way out.

A few years back Sami Sosa was caught using a cork bat in his run for the home run record. The public screamed "SAY IT AINT SO SAMI" .The press was all over it. They talked for weeks about it. Sami was made to bring full discloser and turn over all his bats for full examination. There was talk on how this would hurt our children because they would think it was ok to cheat. To bring the odds in your favor.

My point.

Where is the mainstream media today. Why are they not screaming about the this stimulus bill that passed on a lie. Obama PROMISED, vowed that there would be full disclosure and the public would have a full 48 hours to read the bill in it's fnal form before it was sent to the floor of the house for a final vote.HE LIED...... AGAIN>>>The bill came out of commitee last night 8pm. It was not delivered to the members of the congress until 2 hours left before the vote.

There has yet to be a full post of the stimulus bill in the Thomas Jefferson Congressional Library where every bill is mandated to be posted prior to vote.

What is he hiding?

This is exactly what happened in Europe when a young charizmatic man came to power. Things were hid from the public. Money was borrowed and printed. Anybody got any guesses as to who I am refering to?
